Frequently Asked Questions
Gorilla trekking involves hiking through forested and sometimes steep terrain. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended, but experienced guides and rangers will assist you throughout the trek.
This safari can be enjoyed year-round. However, the dry seasons from June to September and December to February are generally considered the best times for wildlife viewing and gorilla trekking, as trails are less muddy and animals are easier to spot around water sources.

By booking a safari with Amazing Nature Safaris Uganda, clients agree to our booking, payment, and cancellation policies. A deposit is required to confirm reservations, while the balance must be paid before the safari commences. Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are subject to the regulations and refund policies of the relevant wildlife authorities. Clients are responsible for obtaining valid travel documents, visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance. While we strive to provide the highest level of service, Amazing Nature Safaris Uganda shall not be held liable for delays, changes, loss, injury, or additional expenses resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including weather conditions, road conditions, wildlife movements, government actions, or force majeure events. We reserve the right to make necessary adjustments to itineraries, accommodations, or transportation arrangements where required. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed as animals roam freely in their natural habitats. By confirming a booking, clients acknowledge and accept these terms and agree to follow all park regulations, guide instructions, and responsible tourism practices throughout the safari.
